Citizens to Keep Auburn Moving is supporting the April 17 bond measure to repair local roads. Some key facts:

  • This project would repair 31 miles of key arterials in the city.
  • Two thirds of the repair cost would be covered by Auburn businesses. One third would be covered by homeowners. This project is a true partnership between local business, citizens, and government.
  • The average homeowner would pay about the cost of one tank of gas per year for the first five years of the project and a couple tanks of gas in years six-fifteen — as the bonds mature and paid off the annual average impact steadily declines.
